Prusa Research, a European leader in desktop 3D printing and a major global manufacturer, has become a partner of the Summer School. For the Summer School for Young Scientists – Bazaleti 2026, the company has provided two 3D printer kits with accessories. The professional program will include 3D printing workshops, during which participants will first assemble the printers and then learn the basics of 3D printing by creating models of molecules and crystal lattices, laboratory tools such as test tube racks or pipette holders, and various functional small items. An extension for multi-material printing will also enable the printing of more complex objects and allow, for example, the production of an attachment that transforms a standard mobile phone into a surprisingly accurate spectrophotometer.
